Pure Silk Chiffon Material

An art form made popular by the Paris Exposition of 1925, Art Deco featured symmetrical styling, with a geometric and angular appearance.  The "Modernist" movement was widely popular and influenced all phases of American and European architecture including building design, furniture, and lighting into the 1960's.

These shades were inspired by those being used on better lamps of the mid-1920's.  Displaying many of the design elements from this period, our shades' luxurious design with delicate colors and materials are certain to compliment your fine table and floor lamps.  All shades feature hand-made Stair-Step Pleats in 100% silk chiffon material and have a warm three-dimensional effect when lighted.
